Mina Tahsiri

Dr Tahsiri is a senior lecturer in architecture at UWE Bristol, with expertise in areas of design cognition, design theory, mixed methods research and architectural pedagogy. She obtained a Ph.D. degree from the University of Nottingham, exploring the meaning of design, drawing and concept development in architectural design from the perspective of distributed cognition. Following this, she was involved in an EPSRC-funded project investigating the neural and cognitive basis of design ideation (Imagine-D) at the University of Strathclyde, before joining UWE. Currently, she is a co-editor for the Journal of the Association of Architectural Educators: Charrette and advises on the Higher Education Pedagogies, Policy & Practice (HEPPP) Research Network at UWE Bristol.
